Christopher J. R.
Private tutor in South Orange, NJ
Education
Senior Finance and Economics major at Seton Hall University
Experience
When I was in middle school or early high school, I had a hard time piecing everything together and it reflected in my grade. Now in college I have refined how to understand topics better and it has paid off. I am consistently on the Dean's List and teach younger students complex topics. I always try to take more complex courses (4000 level) to challenge myself and become better versed in foundation concepts. In terms of tutoring, I have no formal experience and really just teach friends or classmates topics they don't understand. On top of the rigorous courses I have taken, I have several real life experiences, through internships and clubs, that qualifies me to tutor. I am also apart of Seton Hall's Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) where we manage $150,000 of the schools endowment, through equity research, analysis and execution.

Hobbies
Although I love to learn new things (in the process of learning HTML and CSS), I have a lot of other interests. I am a huge playing sports person. I have been playing on Seton Hall's Men's rugby team since my sophomore year, but before that, I played soccer for many years. I LOVE golf! Any time I can, or if I am stressed, I try to at least go hit balls on the range. I also used to play competitively! I don't just play organized team sports. I do spend sometime playing pickup sports like basketball and tennis as well. Besides sports, I love to read (am currently working on the Dan Brown novels) and I am a big movie/TV series person.
